Focused instruction in shooting, ball handling, footwork, and finishing. Work directly with a coach on the details you need to improve.

“The Shot Doctor”

For more than 30 years, Willie Diggs has coached and trained basketball players. His approach starts with the fundamentals: show the technique, work through the details, and put it into the game.

Dream Makers began in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Today, the name returns in Northern Virginia with Willie’s focus on basketball, academic effort, discipline, and being a good teammate.

Who is Dream Makers for?

Boys and girls from 4th grade through high school in Ashburn and the surrounding Northern Virginia community. Talk with Coach Willie about the right training group or team for your player’s experience.

Can a player train without joining a travel team?

Yes. Players can take part in group workouts without joining a travel team. Ask Coach Willie about the right group for your player’s experience.

Where and when do you meet?

The academy serves Ashburn and Northern Virginia. Gym locations and schedules vary by program. Confirm the location and start time with the academy before attending.

How do travel teams and tryouts work?

Travel-team placement depends on the age group and team. Contact the academy for current openings, evaluation details, and the practice and tournament commitment before registering.

What does training cost? What is the pricing?

Ask for the current price and what is included in your chosen program. For travel teams, also ask about uniforms, tournament fees, transport, and any additional family costs.

What should we bring to a first session?

Once your session is confirmed, bring basketball shoes, comfortable athletic clothing, and water. Ask the coach whether your player should bring a ball or any completed forms.
